Hello and Bienvenido!

We are a Fort Myers-based, family-run business offering home inspection services.  The principals of the company have backgrounds as architects, educated in Florida and Iowa (Go Gators, Go Cyclones!).

​

Since 2016, we have enjoyed living in South Fort Myers area raising our now young adult children and a rescue dog named Lily. Residing in close proximity to beautiful Estero Bay and the barrier Islands of Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach has been, for the most part, delightful, and sometimes a challenge.

In September of 2022, the devastating Hurricane Ian struck Southwest Florida coast with winds gusting up to 140 mph and a storm surge that rose as high as 15 feet.   And even though our home is located six miles from the coast, our community was flooded with water that lapped the threshold of our front door and garage causing some water intrusion.   Nonetheless, the damage we incurred was minimal compared to many of our surrounding neighborhoods, and we were able to quickly mitigate for mold and make repairs.

 Many of our neighbors and friends were not so fortunate. In the aftermath of the storm, Carlos joined volunteer forces to help with cleanup efforts in some of the residential communities that had been decimated beyond occupiable living conditions.  In the process, he also helped friends and neighbors inspect their homes for roof damage, interior defects, and apparent mold. It was from this work, and with specialized training by InterNACHI, that the idea of a home inspection business was started.

We love our community and our mission now is to help homeowners understand the conditions of their current or prospective homes. Our goal is to perform detailed and thorough investigations, and to deliver reports to our clients that are clear and concise.
